 May  - Howard Walsh of Thornley, near Longridge took over as Northern Representative for the Jacob Sheep Society from Sue Cambage on her resignation.

Exhibitors from the Lancashire area of this region unable to show at any early Yorkshire or Scottish shows due to Bluetongue restrictions (including the Great Yorkshire)  However since vaccination became available in August we have made our presence felt!

GBH partners (formed for the purchase of a ewe from Tony Reilly at St Boswells sale) pictured below each winning Championships in August/September (photos by Gavin Haworth and Becky Green)

Clive Richardson took numerous Championships in Cumbria and at Garstang

At Skipton Sale Howard Walsh realised a good price with a very nice two-horned gimmer lamb.  Clive Richardson had Reserve Champion with his class winning ewe which sold for 220 gns

At Carlisle  Gavin Haworth realised top price of £400 for a shearling ram
